Larinee Movessian

Larinee Movsessian was born and raised in Toronto, where she began her classical training at the age of 4 with the Artistic Director Nadia Veselova-Tencer at Stars of the 21st Century. Since then,  she has explored dance styles such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Armenian Folk Dance, and Ballroom. She has danced and choreographed for many companies including York University’s Stylewize Hip Hop Team, DARK Dance Company, and BOSS Dance Company.
Recently, she was featured in Jully Black’s music video “Do You Love Me”, performed with Monsters of Hip Hop at Choreographer’s Cup L.A., and danced for a Toronto artist, DIXON, with choreography by Hollywood Jade.   
Some of her other credits include: the Canadian Ballet Theatre’s “Nutcracker” with the stars from Kirov and Bolshoi Ballet; Pre Juno Awards; opened for P.Diddy’s Home Coming Tour in Toronto; opened for Karl Wolf at WinterFest; Step Up Revolution Toronto performance on Much Music (with the stars Kathryn Mccormick and Ryan Guzman); Choreographer’s Ball; Fever After Dark; and Bazaar. 

Larinee recently choreographed for an artist from L.A., R-Mean, for a Genocide Awareness Concert as well as for Haroun Bedrossian's new music video “Hele Hele”. She is now working with an upcoming singer/songwriter named Kylie McCollough.    As well as establishing herself as a dancer and choreographer, Larinee is also a producer. She recently produced her own charity dance showcase called “Two Worlds Apart”, where she raised over $14,000 in two years. The money raised was donated to selected charities including: the Sunshine Foundation; Children of Armenia; Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada; and more.
