Anna Rybalko
Dance has always been a part of Anna's life, but it was at age 11 that she fell in love with ballet and persuaded her parents to enrol her into the professional ballet program at Victoria Ballet Academy. While attending this program, Anna was given the opportunity to assist and teach creative movement and beginner ballet classes under the guidance of her ballet teacher. This experience influenced her to further pursue her teaching career. Anna graduated from the Teacher Training Program at Canada's National Ballet School, through which she achieved Registered Teacher Status with Royal Academy of Dance, as well, she graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance.
Anna continues to seek out professional development opportunities, such as becoming certified in Level 1 and 2 C-I Training™ (conditioning-with-imagery), as well as attending the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Alongside teaching, she also performs with Toronto Dance Life Company, an entertainment company that specializes in a fusion of jazz, contemporary and ballroom styles. Anna believes that ballet is a great way to train and condition the body for many dance styles and she looks forward to sharing her passion for ballet with her students.
