Alyssa Lue
Alyssa Lue, a Toronto-based dance artist and choreographer, trained competitively for fourteen years under the guidance of some of the industry’s top choreographers. Her passion for the art led her to attend St. Elizabeth Catholic High School, where she graduated from the Regional Arts Program at the top of her class. Alyssa recently graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in dance, as well as a Bachelor of Education degree through the Consecutive Education Program. Alyssa was a member of York University’s competitive dance team, York Lions Dance Energy, for five years leading the team as their captain for two.
In 2017, Alyssa produced a choreographic show entitled Intertwined featuring a group of ten professional artists. She has performed in pieces featured in Fever After Dark, Toronto’s Choreography Ball and Toronto’s Dance Teacher’s Expo. Alyssa continues to grow as a dance artist and choreographer as she shares her passion choreographing for various students across the GTA and York Region. She is proud to be a part of the CBDA Dance family!
